About Wovenmap

Wovenmap is a passive location journal that runs in the background of your phone. The phone publishes a location ping when iOS detects significant movement; the rest of the time it's silent. Stops — places where you stayed at least 30 minutes — become entries in your day.

We were built because the existing options are stuck in two unhappy categories: either invasive always-on trackers that drain your battery and sell your data, or rough developer tools that you have to wire up yourself. Wovenmap takes the second category, polishes it, and pairs it with an evidence-grade output mode for the times when "where was I, exactly" is a question with stakes.

Your data lives in your account. We never sell it, never aggregate it for advertisers, never train on it. The export pipeline produces tamper-evident reports that families, attorneys, accountants, and courts can rely on.

The hardest part is making it boring

Most location apps want your attention. Wovenmap wants none of it. It runs in the background, captures what happened, and waits for you to come ask. Every design decision is in service of that — battery-friendly logging, minimal UI, no notifications, no nudges.
